PHIL EWART
Phil Ewart's story all begins in 1971. He was raised in Dural and began painting
at 9 years of age. He was encouraged by immediately winning his first
award.
At the age of 15 years, Phil received tutorage from several prominent
and successful artists including Michael Zaiter, Allan Fizzell and Suzanne
Sommer. During this time he began exhibiting his works selectively through
Canberra galleries where he sold to local and international clients.
By 2000 Phil had established himself in several regular exhibitions organised
by art societies, galleries and schools/charities that included The Kings
School in Sydney where Phil had been a student.
In 2000 and 2002 Phil held one-man exhibitions. He regularly won awards
and had developed a strong following in regional NSW being particularly
well known in Thredbo and Tumut.
Phil is a young artist and medical practitioner. He is represented by
SHOWCASE of Australian Art.
